Weehawken

The Township of Weehawken is a diverse community with a rich history. Home to beautiful parks and ballfields, excellent schools and top notch municipal services. Weehawken sits atop the Palisades on the Hudson River and offers magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline. The iconic New York City skyline can be seen from almost any street in town. Also atop the cliffs is the memorial to Alexander Hamilton, who in 1804 was fatally wounded by Aaron Burr, then Vice-president of USA in the nation's most famous duel. From the right perspective one can see south to the Verrazano Narrows Bridge and north to the George Washington Bridge.
